As the offseason quickly comes to an end, Rick and Jesse decided to make a last minute decision and head to Duck River Raceway Park for the FWD 1K to win Sunday race. With putting the finishing touches on the new #934 machine, Rick decided to bring his secondary car and Jesse unloaded the new Sharps Race Cars #49. The day started off exceptional for KARB Racing, Jesse was able to set Fast Time in Qualifying with Rick getting 9th. Both cars started in Heat race #1 with Jesse on the pole leading the race Flag 2 Flag, Bringing in the first heat race win of the season. With Jesse leading the field to the green in the feature, Rick in the #934 started 11th. Unfortunately only a few laps into the feature Jesse had a small issue where an electrical wire fell down between the shifter cables causing the trans to come out of gear, being unknown at the time this ended the Race for the #49. Rick was able to pick people off one by one moving his way up to 6th before having an axle issue, catching fire and also ending his night. All in all, there was promising speed shown from KARB Racing in night 1 of 2024. With a quick time and a heat race win, They will set their sights on to the next FWD Showdown!
